Tulsi is Holy plant in India. It is worshiped by people. It has uncountable benefits in human body. It is known as Holy Basil in English and Tulasi in Sankrit. It is a plant of Ocimum genus. Most variety of this plant are native to India. It is a annual herb that may grow up to 3 feet.

there are four types of Tulsi that found in India. Those are:

3. Vana Tulsi
4. Kapoor Tulsi
- Rama Tulsi: It is also known as Lakshmi Tulsi or Green Leaf Tulsi. It is most common type of Tulsi that is used for religious and medicinal purposes. It has great healing property and the taste of this is sweeter with aromatic fragrance. It acts as a cure of common flue and Bronchitis.
- Krishna Tulsi: It is actually purple leaf Tulsi. It is named because of having similarity of color as skin of Lord Krishna. It has so medicinal uses like curing Throat infections, Respiratory system, Nasal infection, Ear ache, Skin diseases.
- Vana Tulsi: It is known as Wild Tulsi which has strong aroma. Its benefits are Boosting Immunity, Improving mental and physical endurance, Prevent Aging.
- Kapoor Tulsi: It is also called Chandan (sandal) Tulsi as it is has the sweetest aromatic fragrance than other types. This type of Tulsi is used for curing life threatening diseases as it is loaded with medicinal properties. It can also keep insects and mosquitoes away.
